Sensex and Nifty closed today's session in red after soaring higher in the early hours on February 21, 2024. Nifty Auto, IT, Pharma, FMCG indices remained among top losers while PSU Bank traded in green. Shares of Zee Entertainment tanked near 15% after a Bloomberg report claiming $241 million 'missing funds'.
Continuing its winning streak, Indian benchmark indices opened higher on Wednesday, February 21. But, as the day progressed, the indices soon erased their gains after hitting record highs and closed 0.5 per cent lower with most of the sectoral indices tanking.
